Advance Tickets

Advance tickets are available for purchase for full weekend attendance and for individual days of the festival as well. However, discounted prices are available for full weekend tickets only. Advance tickets for single days are sold at the same price as at the gate during the festival.

The festival site has plenty of room for camping for tenters as well as RVers, and unlike many other festivals, we do not charge extra for camping. Weekend ticket holders may camp on the grounds at no charge, but camping is available only to weekend ticket holders - daily ticket holders may not bring vehicles or camping gear into the campground. A limited number of electrical outlets are available in the campground, and there is a nominal charge for use of these that is collected separately by the property owners, the Fair Grounds Association. Electric use is not included as part of the weekend ticket price.

Ordering Advance Tickets Online

Advance tickets may be ordered online and paid for by credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover) using the TicketWeb system beginning March 1, 2008. As is the case with most independent ticket agencies, TicketWeb appends a surcharge above the face value of the tickets. Although it varies depending on how many tickets are ordered, this surcharge averages about 5% - 8% of the total face value of the tickets ordered.

TicketWeb orders placed less than 7 days before this date will not be mailed, and must be claimed at the festival gate on a 'will call' basis. Please be sure to bring the credit card on which they were ordered to verify identity.

Ordering Advance Tickets Via Direct Mail

Advance tickets are also available by direct mail from the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music. Tickets ordered by direct mail must be paid for by check or money order, we are unable to accept credit cards. Please use the TicketWeb system (see above) if you wish to purchase advance tickets via credit card.

Refunds

The Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival is a multi-day, outdoor event. Except in extreme cases of disaster or other emergency, it is held all three days, RAIN OR SHINE, and all performances will take place as scheduled, regardless of weather. No refunds of full or partial ticket prices will be granted after the festival gates open at 8:00 am, except in extreme or unusual circumstances. The Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, sponsors of the festival, reserve the sole right to determine what these circumstances are and when they are in effect. The Brandywine Friends also reserve the right to alter the performance schedule as circumstances dictate. Notice of changes will be given if at all possible, but in some cases there may be little or no opportunity for prior notification.

The Festival officially ends Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 6:00 pm
